Concessional Registration
ACT Concessional Registration Scheme
The Council of ACT Motor Clubs co-manages with ACT Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) the ACT Concessional Registration Scheme (CRS) for vehicles more than 30 years old. The CRS provides for the registration of veteran, vintage and historic vehicles and motor cycles at a concessional rate under the following general conditions:
- The owner must be a financial member of a club affiliated with the Council
- The affiliated club must have paid all fees to the Council
- The vehicle must be more than thirty years old
- Travel restricted (to club and Council events and testing runs)
- All trips must be recorded in a log book kept in each vehicle
- The vehicle must be authenticated each year by the Registrar of the club to which the vehicle’s owner belongs
Currently there are over 600 vehicles on CRS in the ACT. Full details on the scheme are available from ACT Urban Services or from the CACTMC Registrar
