Who We Are
Council of ACT Motor Clubs
The Council of ACT Motor Clubs was incorporated in 1985 and represents over 60 motoring clubs in the ACT and surrounding region. There are more than 5,000 members within our member motoring clubs and approximately 2,000 vehicles on concessional registration. The interests of our member clubs is wide and varied, and we continue to grow as new clubs emerge.
The members of the Council of ACT Motor Clubs comprise two delegates from each member motoring club. If you have an issue of interest to local or national motoring enthusiasts, ask your club delegate to raise it at the next Council meeting. The Council can raise issues of national importance at the Australian Historic Motoring Federation (AHMF).
Canberra has the highest number per capita of motoring enthusiasts in Australia. If you are a local motoring enthusiast, we urge you to join one of our local motoring clubs. If you are already a member of one of our local motoring clubs, we urge your club to join the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.
