Canberra Centenary 2013
New Centenary of Canberra Number Plates
On 12 March 2008, the Council of ACT Motor Clubs helped the ACT Government launch its new release of ACT Registration plates on Canberra's official 95th birthday. The new general-issue plates aim to promote the Centenary of Canberra in 2013. The Council provided a number of motor vehicles on the day, including the Canberra Pie Cart, which sat alongside a Model T Ford that will turn 100 years old in 2013. Also in attendance, were a FJ Holden, an A9X Torana and a Mazda MX 5, which all helped to represent a centenary of Motoring in the Nation's Capital.
